Coming soon!!! (updated 2/11/2009) An on-line bill pay option! We are proud to announce that online bill payment is coming this spring through Paymentus.com. Paymentus is a well-established third party online billing service provider for utilities large and small. Their service is 100% safe, secure and protects your personal information against identity theft. On October 6th, Jefferson County PUD#1 signed a resolution to link with the Paymentus service. Currently as of mid-February we are in the training phase and will soon be performing test runs prior to going live in March.  When launched for a nominal fee customers will be able to pay their bills online or by phone with a credit card, debit card or eCheck.  The service will have the added advantage over most bank services in that your bill payment will be nearly instantaneous rather than taking as many as 10 or more days for your bank to mail us your payment. As previously stated, the service will cost our customers a small fee per transaction. However, if enough customers adopt the service over time, it will likely be absorbed as a part of our standard billing operations.
